Employ Direct
This project came about because a number of people who were seeking new jobs told me they were sick and tired of all the job offers being sent to them by Employment Agencies. After some research and investigation it became apparent that this was a problem. Many potential employees seeking a new job will sign up with a number of the major job sites. They tend to share information with each other so often the same job will be offered on all the sites. Often during this consolidation process the same job is listed multiple times on the same job site.
Other experiences with Recruitment Agencies and Consultants was that they didn’t necessarily have the job they were offering. Rather they would search for potential employees then contact potential employers offering the details of people they had details of. It was also discovered that with recruitment consultants they rarely if ever provided the name of the potential employer and often failed to provide details of location, salary, actual qualification’s required etc. These issues along with many others made searching for a job hard work and not very rewarding.
Employ Direct essentially is a website model that only accepts details of potential applicants and details of actual vacancies directly posted by the potential employer. In addition to keep information valid both employers and job seekers pay a small fee to encourage them to remove outdated information. Finally most of the smaller employer find the cost of advertising or recruitment consultant fees very prohibitive. Employ Direct charges a very small amount.
