Yesterday turned out to be a bit of a ‘no-no’ day for me, with nothing of interest happening, far too much rain and an annoying chilly temperature that required me to put on the heating in my office for the first time!
Hopefully today will be brighter and a little warmer but I suppose that now autumn is officially with us, and the days are getting shorter it is only to be expected. Shame really because I need as much sun as I can get to bolster my vitamin D levels, and I like those warm sunny days. I’m looking forward to next summer already!
Yesterday I quoted an extract from the eBook “How to Cure Almost Any Cancer” by Bill Henderson and Andrew Scholberg. In their eBook they mention another scientist from Germany called Dr. Johanna Budwig who created the Budwig Centre in Malaga in Spain.
Dr Budwig was born in 1908 in Germany and died in 2003 at the age of 95. She has been referred to as a top European Cancer Research Scientist, Biochemist, Blood Specialist, German Pharmacologist, and Physicist. In Germany in 1952 she was the Central Government’s Senior Expert for fats and pharmaceutical drugs.
She’s considered one of the world’s leading authorities on fats and oils. Her research has shown the tremendous negative effects that commercially processed fats and oils have in destroying cell membranes and lowering the voltage in the cells of our bodies, which then result in chronic and terminal disease.
The Budwig centre has a website at http://www.budwigcenter.com which explains all about what she believed and how she helped thousands recover from cancer and other serious illnesses, mainly by diet and things that you can do yourself. You can find an interesting download at the top of the home page which contains masses of interesting information along with good dietary recipes.
The reason for mentioning this is that as I carry out more and more research, I am seeing more and more patterns in what is being said. Good diet, alkali body, detox, reduced sugar intake as well as things such as massage, exercise and emotional aspects.
But the other thing I have seen is that there are dozens of unusual recommendations, some which contradict what others say.
For example, dairy is general recognised as a no-no, yet Dr Budwig’s main cure is based upon cottage cheese and flax seed oil. Initially this can be confusing, but Dr Budwig explains that by mixing the two in a specific ratio and then blending those together until the molecular structure breaks down they are safe to use. Apparently the resulting mixture can then have fruit, nuts or flavouring added and it reduces the detrimental effect that dairy has on the body.
The issue I have is just how far do I go? Should I try some of these other ideas? What about apricot kernels, asparagus and apple cider, all of which are supposed to cure cancer? Then there are things like enemas, herbal remedies from India, emotional mapping and the removal or all chemical based cleaners, toothpastes, mouth washes and other things we put on our skin?
It seems that the chances of me dying of cancer are small compared with the fatigue I would probably experience if I spent most of my day worrying about all the things that I MUST do and the things that I MUST NOT do!
I guess the answer is to get the right balance, and stick by that. I might try the cottage cheese and flax seed oil (if I can the oil in the UK that is) as it is the main focus of Dr Budwig’s research and the services they provide at their centre.
Well, I’ll leave it now and allow you to get on with your day. I’ve nothing serious planned for today, but am considering writing a book to fill my time over the next few years. You never know … it might become a best seller!
Enjoy your day and thank you for your support.

All comments are welcome below. Feel free to share this blog with other, as I want to help people to understand that there are always alternatives – www.jtuffin.co.uk – Thanks!

I think a book would be a great idea, Jim, and would be of great help to other cancer sufferers. I am a proofreader amongst other things – I’ll proof your book for free.
Thanks Steve,
One thing for sure is that I will need a proof reader as my English is not the best in the world nor is my typing – as you have probably seen.
I was actually thinking of writing a novel but may be a good readable book to help others with a similar condition would be a good idea!

Jim
Hi Jim,
Please do seriously consider writing a book as your writing style makes your blogs a pleasure to read and your diagnosis provides you with sufficient authority to ensure your writing is a compelling read.
Thanks for the blog posts, they are really excellent.
Kind regards
Jim
Thanks Jim,
You are so generious with your support for what I am doing that I can never repay you. As I said above to Steve, perhaps a book to help others might be encouraging for others who are suffering or worse still ‘given up’!
I’ll have to think long and hard – but already it feels appealing.
Regards
Jim
I’ve just started reading the first book that you recommended – “The pH Miracle” by Robert & Shelley Young. Wow, what an eye-opener!
Take two 19th century biologists. One advances a theory that specific diseases were related to specific external causes. The other suggests that our susceptibility to disease is related to internal causes, predominantly related to what we eat and drink.
If these biologists had been anywhere other than a country where they tend to “live to eat” we might have had a more balanced debate but in the event, Louis Pasteur’s approach was adopted and that of Antoine Bechamp was ignored, particularly by the pharmaceutical companies who just happen to make zillions from their ever-more-complex drugs.
With over 25 years in the aviation business, much of it with various black boxes designed to improve flight safety, the recurring theme was the need for balance – not just mechanical in terms of lift, thrust, power and drag but every single aspect of the operation of an aeroplane. Nowadays, with simulation-based business games, we see exactly the same principles applying to teams running anything from a large organisations down to a brand new start-ups. Any imbalance invariably leads to trouble.
The pH Miracle explains the horrendous consequences of our Western diet. Not only are our kids’ chances of attaining three score years and ten decreasing but our quality of life in the latter decades is increasingly compromised by cancer, heart failure, diabetes or one of the other diseases with strong causal links to diet. Fortunately, there is an alternative – and although radical, it looks a lot more attractive than surgery and radio/chemotherapy.
There may well be other good options worth pursuing, Jim – and no doubt there at least as many theories for recovering from illness as there are for recovering from a double-dip recession but that doesn’t necessarily mean we should apply them all at the same time! Ultimately, it all boils down to prioritising balance.
Like the others, I very much look forward to reading your book!
Hello Jim,
I think you should write a book about your life,I have been saying this to Becky for a long time. You are a very literate man, and have a way of putting things.I have been writeing a book about my life, since i was sixteen.I am only up to 1970 at the moment, but i am writeing it by hand, as i do not know how to use the computer like you.I haven`t done any for a while, as it is too hot hear to concentrate.but now the winter is comming i shall get back to it.
