Today I will keep it very brief as it is the weekend and we all deserve a break from the continual blast of information we receive.
I just want to bring to your attention a retreat that is being held in the UK in Oxfordshire at the beautiful Nuneham Park located in Nuneham Courtenay on the weekend Friday 12th to Sunday 14th October 2012.
This retreat is called ‘Love, Hope and Happiness’ and is a special event for anyone who is living with cancer.
The aim of the retreat is to uplift and inspire people to enable them to deal with the challenge of living with cancer in a very positive way. As you will know from my blog, I firmly believe that being positive about the outcome is absolutely essential.
The retreat is free of charge and non-denominational. You must be suffering with cancer but you can take someone with you who cares for you, such as your partner.
If you know anyone who may be interested please can they email John McConnel on lwc@uk.bkwsu.org and he will be happy to send further details and an application to attend.
You can also find out a little more from the flyer posted here on Ecademy:-

I hope to be going with my wife Clare so that I can get a better understanding of how I can manage the stress on my life and Clare will benefit because she is also very stressed out about the whole situation and anything that will help her to manage it, will be an advantage.
I hope that after this event I will be able to assist and encourage others in a much more positive way once I understand the spiritual side a lot more.
Please feel free to share this information with anyone you know who has Cancer as they might benefit from a few days away in a beautiful environment surrounded by people who understand the issues and problems they face.
Well that’s it!
I look forward to sharing my experiences with you in due course, but in the meanwhile please enjoy your weekend.
Regards
Jim Tuffin
