Well October is with us already and the signs of winter are appearing – perhaps it is time to think about hibernating!
I was thinking earlier today that some animals are very sensible by closing their system down and having a long sleep over the winter period. Even many of our birds and fish emigrate to a warmer climate at this time of year. Perhaps I should think about moving to a warmer climate until spring arrives next year.
My weekend has been good, filled with cooking a supply of chicken curry, trying a couple of new recipes for cooking chicken and turkey and making my soup for lunch this week. I’ve never been a great fan of veggie soups but I have to say all those I have made so far have been delicious and well worth the effort.
This week I my efforts produce a fine Red Pepper and Tomato Soup which is both good for me, warming and very tasty. I tend to adjust the recipes a little to make sure they conform to my alkali diet and avoid dairy such as milk and cream.
I’ve also have two new books to read, ‘The Emotion Code’ by Bradley Nelson and ‘Cancer Free’ by Bill Henderson, both of which look really interesting. I’ve started on the first book and although I am a little sceptical about what Bradley writes I tried one of his simple tests at the start of the book – and amazingly it seems to work! I’m looking forward to understanding the whole process.
Health wise I am feel fine although this pain in my back is really starting to get to me. I’ve rung my masseur to arrange another massage as I think that help a bit, but also plan to book an appointment for a one-on-one session with a local Pilates’s instructor who comes highly recommended. Apparently palates help to improve your core strength which seems to be the issue I have.
I hate to admit this but I have been putting it off as I watched a Pilates’s video on YouTube and what they were doing seemed beyond my ability! No, I am not a coward – just a bit scarred of taking on something that I might not be able to manage.
Don’t worry; I will do it but just need to get myself in the right mood, anything to deal with this continual pain.
My alkali levels are around 7.4 which is excellent and I also think that my sugar levels are also better than normal although I have not checked yet. All this is due to the diet I am following. As a real bonus I have lost over one stone in weight in the last two months and that is down to my alkali diet.
If you are interested in losing weight then have a look at Ross Bridgeford’s site http://alkalinedietweightloss.com/ which he has just launched to help people with weight issues and how to overcome them.
Well I think that is about it for today, I don’t want to take too much of your time.
If I can assist you in any way, please feel free to contact me.
Enjoy your day!
